About Mrs. Gibson

Hello Denton community! I am Emily Gibson, Denton's instructional coach. I am born and raised in Thomasville, NC. I attended East Davidson High School and received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from UNC- Greensboro. I am currently seeking my graduate degree from UNC-Greensboro for School Administration.

I come to Denton having previously worked at Fair Grove, Brier Creek, Friedberg, and Davis-Townsend. I have taught almost every elementary grade level and love seeing the growth that students make both academically and socially. I am very excited to kickoff my second year as Denton's instructional coach.
