About Mrs. Cox
Hello! My name is Whitney Cox. I am a second grade teacher at Denton Elementary. I was born and raised in Davidson County. After graduating from East Davidson High School in 2004, I attended UNC-Greensboro where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I am currently enrolled in Appalachian State University’s Graduate School. I will be working for the next two years in order to earn my Master’s Degree in School Administration. I also have my National Board Certification. This year begins my 16th year of teaching! When I am not at school, you will find me spending time with my family which includes my husband and three children!
