About Me
I grew up in Ukraine and moved to the United States when I was 20 years old. I quickly fell in love with the country and its people, and chose to stay and continue my education. I hold a Specialist Degree in English Language and Literature from Sumy State Pedagogical University in Ukraine, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Augusta State University in Georgia.
I have been teaching since 2014 in both Randolph and Davidson County Schools, and I truly love what I do. Teaching brings me joy, purpose, and a constant sense of connection with my students and colleagues. I have taught 1st and 3rd grades, but I have spent most of my career in 4th and 5th grade, where I have truly found my passion for guiding students through the challenging and exciting curriculum in all subjects and have grown to appreciate students` fun and unique personalities. Throughout my career, I have also taught three combination classes. Those were some of my most rewarding experiences.
