I am honored to lead Denton Elementary as Principal and excited to have the opportunity to continue to work in this small community! My hope is we can have continued success on doing what is best for students while creating a wonderful learning environment in which they thrive.
 
This is my 14th year in education. I began my teaching journey as a classroom teacher in Minnesota before moving to North Carolina in 2016. Since then, I have served as a teacher at Wallburg Elementary, administrative intern at Central Davidson High School, and assistant principal at Southwood Elementary, Silver Valley Elementary, and of course, Denton Elementary!
 
I earned my undergraduate in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and Masters of School Administration from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG).
 
I look forward to collaborating with and serving the Denton community this upcoming school year. I have a strong passion for student learning and watching children grow academically and socially.
