Class II. 10 3rd and 4th. After that has track practice then after practice Justin Robinson with Carlos you also drop Susan and Sarah home on Tuesday just a ride to school on the bus what school he goes to first. And then second. And then lunch lunch time Justin discovers he has a headache and he can't taste his food personal policy Justin reports this to his teacher teacher instructs him to isolate until his parents could pick him up and take him home on Wednesday Justin's mom calls the school and confirms that justice has tested positive covid-19 now the school will start an investigation to identify a notify close contacts who are these close to any person he was closer than 60 to Justin for more than 15 minutes in a 24-hour. For a town. A 48 hours before Justin's first symptoms let's look at this in two ways first school setting where masks are worn close contact to work wearing a mask and Justin was also wearing a mask do not need to quarantine so anyone that was on the school bus with Justin and cluding David and Jamie Sunset next to you feature what about areas where they may not have been more like a lunch lunch it's hot outside just give me maintained so none of those individuals we need to quarantine I'm a ride home after track practice Justin Carlos Susan and Sarah did not wear masks in the car Sarah vaccinated in this situation only two individuals will have to quarantine all the individuals from lunch the school bus and classes are safe during quarantine the two individuals who will need to quarantine will be Susan and Carlos from the car ride home now let's look at this at a school setting without masks anyone that Justin was within six feet of distance of 4 15 minutes will be required to quarantine unless that person is vaccinated or had covid-19 in the last 3 months so this is going to include David and Jamie who sat next to Justin on the school bus any bus route cars that run the school bus within six feet of distance from Justin any of Justin's teachers any of Jessie's classmates that we're within six feet of him and he when he died members of the track team coaches and also the friends that Justin rides home with after school every day Carlos Susan and Sarah close contacts in this scenario are most likely between 20 and 6 the individuals with a rate of fully vaccinated individuals in Davidson County being 35% estimate for quarantine in this scenario are 7 to 21 individuals
